A weekend by the river

Last weekend I spent a wonderful day fishing on the Orz River with my father. The weather could not have been better: calm, warm, and perfect for a quiet adventure by the water. We arrived early in the morning, when the mist still hung over the riverbanks, and set up our rods. Our bait was simple – worms and corn – but it worked.

After only twenty minutes, I felt the first bite. A small perch was on the line! A little later, another fish followed. Each catch brought a thrill, not because of the size of the fish, but because of the joy of being outdoors and sharing the moment.

For me, fishing is not only about catching fish. It is about patience, calm, and respect for nature. Sometimes I watch YouTube videos made by anglers in the UK or USA, and they inspire me to try new things. Next time, I plan to go night fishing – I’ve heard it’s the best way to catch catfish. Perhaps that will be the subject of my next story.
